About the Event
The Arts & Chats in Killeen, Texas is a dynamic youth speaking and arts showcase created by Dr. Kerry-Ann Zamore to empower young people through creative expression, public speaking, and leadership development. Hosted at the Killeen Arts & Activities Center, the event features a TED-Talk–style youth speaking competition where teens deliver original speeches on themes related to influence, community, and personal growth. Each participant is paired with a coach to refine content, strengthen delivery, and build confidence. The program also includes performances by young musicians and artists, creating a blended arts experience. Supported by The Zamore Foundation and KZamore Enterprises, Arts & Chats awards scholarships funded through ticket sales, offering both a platform for youth voice and a pathway toward educational opportunity.
