The Zamore Foundation focuses on two major social issues: Domestic Violence Awareness, and Literacy Awareness. The Foundation believes that in order to mitigate Domestic Violence, survivors should be empowered through education, tangible resources, support, and resiliency training. The Foundation also believes that literacy is key to opening doors to opportunities. The Foundation's international partnerships with Churches and Universities create opportunities for children in Central America, The Caribbean and marginalized cities in Texas.
The Zamore Foundation Supports The Buena Vista School Feeding Program in the village of Buena Vista, located in the Cayo District of Belize. Feeding takes place every Tuesday at 12.00 noon. The program feeds about 20 to 30 children per day The age range is from five (5) to thirteen (13) years old.
Additionally, We currently sponsor five (5) children with their tuition as school fees are to be paid yearly in this elementary government school. We have provided the school with reading and math books for younger children in the lower classes. We will accept donations to improve and enhance our service. The Literacy program and the school as a whole would benefit greatly from having electronic learning devices.
